DOE, Leading Energy Innovators to Address Innovation in Competitive Markets at Feb. 24 Panel Discussion
Next Thursday at the Capitol Visitors Center in Washington, D.C., KEMA will release a white paper
commissioned by the COMPETE Coalition exploring how competitive electricity markets promote and accelerate innovation.
The accompanying panel discussion, open to the public and members of the media, will feature a distinguished group of energy innovation experts. In addition, the Honorable
Patricia Hoffman, Assistant Secretary, Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability for the Department of Energy, will deliver keynote remarks.
Confirmed panelists for the Feb. 24 brown bag include: Allen Freifeld, Senior Vice President, Viridity Energy, Inc.; Gene Hunt, Director of Corporate Communications, Beacon Power Corporation; Ralph Masiello, Senior Vice President, Innovation, KEMA; and Bill Massey, COMPETE Coalition counsel and former Commissioner, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Moderator).
