Market benefits highlighted at ACORE's Phase II Policy Forum

The American Council on Renewable Energy held its annual Phase II forum on Capitol Hill on December 3 and 4, 2008.  The COMPETE Coalition was a sponsor.  ACORE's conference provided a unique opportunity for innovators and leaders of the renewable energy community to voice their views in a forum designed to bring government and industry together on the record.

Several of the speakers spoke of the benefits of markets in addressing the nation's climate change challenges.  And, in the case of Pat Wood, the role of competitive markets in building the transmission grid the U.S. will require in the future.
